Lawnside House
Today’s photo is of my outdoor accomodation. It is called Lawnside House and consists of a large run for a play area and a kennel which is in the left hand corner at the back. In the kennel is my bed and several toys. Mummy puts me in Lawnside House when she goes out so that I am safe and cannot do any damage -as if I would! I have been put in here once when I was being naughty too but only for a short time. I am not quite sure why there are bags of nuts hanging from the roof but I do see birds come and peck at them.
The wall paper tearing incident is forgiven. Mummy found some matching paper in the attic and Daddy cut a piece to fit and mixed up some white stuff in a bucket ( it tasted horrid and stuck my whiskers together!) and brushed it on the wall and put the new paper up. I managed to steal the brush when he put it down, but it tasted horrid too. Mummy said it was paste – the other day I heard her ask Daddy if he would like some paste on his bread, I don’t wonder he said no!
Dinner tonight was the other half of the trout and 2 slices of corned beef. As I was still looking hungry, I was also given a pouch of dog food. When I had eaten that I felt very full and Daddy said I looked pregnant! Now I am going for a walk with Daddy – we are going to look for rabbits and he will shoot one if we find any, they are supposed to be very good to eat! Back tomorrow!
